When Chris “Burr” Martin took to Instagram in an effort to recreate some of his daughter’s sexy selfies, the father never imagined he’d become a viral Internet star. However, that’s exactly what happened as families around the world are now saying that Martin is their definition of ‘dad goals.’

A comedian from Spokane, Martin first decided to troll his daughter online after he noticed the number of selfies his daughter Cassie was sharing on Instagram. In an interview in CNN, Martin explained why he chose to recreate her pictures, saying, “I just did it because she was kind of posting all of these sexy selfies, and I was like, “Just tone it down a little bit.” And she didn’t. So, I’ll show you what it looks like then.”

Rather than lecturing her, Martin wisely chose to teach his daughter a lesson using the power of social media. The father uploaded photos of himself recreating his daughter’s photos, complete with pouty duck-lips and bathroom selfies. Sharing his pictures alongside his daughter’s own for comparison, people all over have been sharing Martin’s viral posts as he goes above and beyond to accurately mimic his daughter. In one photo, the dad can be seen with his shirt rolled like one of Cassie’s crop tops with a crudely drawn tattoo located right above his navel. in fact, in a different picture, Martin poses for a photo which finds him rocking a wilted ivy crown and exposing his collarbone in a tank top. To make his recreation super accurate, Martin went so far as to draw on another ‘tattoo’ of the anti-possession symbol from CW’s Supernatural which is daughter got tattooed for real.

Since Martin has began his selfie start-up, his Instagram has exploded with followers flocking to the dad’s profile. Currently, he’s gathered over 33,000 fans who’re all eager to see Martin’s next post.

While some kids might be put off by Martin’s methods, Cassie has taken the whole ordeal in stride. Martin has said his daughter, “…rolled her eyes at first, but once she saw her friends thought it was funny, she was OK with it.” Cassie herself even commented on her father’s now-viral sense of humor, saying, “My dad’s humor has always been twisted in with his parenting. I think some parents should tie in some comedy with their opinions on certain life choices their kids make, but understand your child first before doing it. Different families have different ways to express their voices.”

It seems like Martin’s love for selfies and humor is only overshadowed by the love he has for his family. So, for now, he’s content to share his recreations of Cassie’s photos with the world. However, there’s no word on whether he plans to target his other children’s photos in the near future. His followers can only hope for now.
