Even though many Hollywood stars rake millions of dollars through their high-profile movie roles or glamorous fashion gigs, a slew of celebrities still want to earn some cash on the side. However, you may be surprised to find out how many of these A-listers have totally bizarre ways of going about making extra money.

When the 32-year-old actress isn’t kicking butt in the Avengers movies or lending her sultry voice to critically acclaims films like Her, she is running her gourmet popcorn shop in Paris called Yummy Pop eatery.
The store opened in 2016, and includes fancy varieties of the delicious snack in flavors such as chocolate strawberry, Canadien maple, and truffle parmesan and olive oil.
Johansson said in a statement about the popcorn store:
“It has been a dream of mine and my family for several years to bring our favorite American snack to our favorite European City! I am so excited to introduce Yummy Pop, a labor of love and Epicurean enthusiasm. My hope is for Yummy Pop to become a Parisian snacking staple and a symbol of friendship between my two most beloved cities, Paris and New York.”

Jeremy Renner
Oscar nominee and Avengers star Jeremy Runner has a side gig flipping houses and business has been booming. The 46-year-old actor and his business partner Kristoffer Winters go in and purchase old houses and then renovate them to turn a massive profit.
Over the past 15 years, Renner has purchased and remodeled more than 20 homes. Six years ago, Renner and Winters bought a mansion near Beverly Hills for $7 million. They flipped the ’20s-style Art Deco crib and later sold it for $24 million.
“Whether you’re producing a movie or turning around a property, you’re managing people, you’re putting out fires, you’re problem solving, you’re working to stay on time and on budget, and you focus on the tiny details that add up to greatness,” he said during an interview with Robb Report back in 2016.
Renner also addressed how he takes his own personality traits to his onscreen persona in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Hawkeye, and in his house-flipping business.
“There’s a lot of me in Hawkeye, and those qualities do translate to my other career,” he continued. “With the houses we build, I make all the decisions about design, materials, fabrics, furniture, everything. These homes are beyond turnkey; they’re fully loaded. Fresh-cut flowers, linens, towels, the whole bit. You just bring some clothes, and you’re good to go.”
Nick Offerman
Parks and Recreation star Nick Offerman runs his own “kick-ass wood shop” in East Los Angeles.
The store’s website reads: “We focus on hand-crafted, traditional joinery & sustainable slab rescue–working with fallen trees from throughout northern California and our urban LA environment. We like to carve spoons, chainsaw stumps, plank canoes, keep our chisels sharp with stones, build pinball machines & fine furniture. From refined modern designs to enormous Middle-Earth masterpieces, we build it all while smiling a lot.”
The products crafted in the wood shop dining tables, canoes, coffee tables, and a mustache comb.

Jason Robertson, Amber’s business partner and co-owner/operator of Ace of Diamonds, revealed how involved the busty beauty is with the business.
“She is bringing in these dancers and these women and hostesses are having women’s rights more than what they had before,” he said. “It’s not going to be them treated like pieces of meat. She’s brought in more of a structure where you have to respect what they’re doing. With that, I can’t say no to that. She understands it. She comes from it. She understands women more than anybody, I believe. She stands up for women more than anybody, I believe and she has overwhelming power over the whole situation.”
Jeffrey Dean Morgan and Paul Rudd
The Walking Dead‘s Jeffrey Dean Morgan and Ant-Man star Paul Rudd co-own a candy store together called Samuel’s Sweet Shop.
The store is located in Rhinebeck, New York, which is about two hours north of Manhattan. The two purchased the store back in 2014 after the longtime owner passed away.
During an appearance on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, Jeffrey Dean Morgan promoted the shop by wearing a Samuel’s Sweet Shop.
Kim Kardashian
The Keeping Up With the Kardashians star has her own mobile game called Kim Kardashian: Hollywood.
In 2015, the app was responsible for bringing in almost half of her $52.5 earnings according to Forbes.
Kim isn’t the only celeb to have her own app. Nicki Minaj, Gordon Ramsey, Katy Perry, Demi Lovato, and Jason Statham all have their own branded mobile games. However, none have been quite as lucrative as Kim Kardashian’s.
