Things are just getting started for Ryan Lochte. Now that he has confessed and apologized for the Rio robbery scandal, he has to face the music.
He better start packing because the Brazilian justice is summoning Lochte for a hearing, Rio police commissioner Clemente Braune confirmed to NBC News. In fact, a formal document has been sent to the United States.

Hopefully he won’t try to pull any stunts because if he fails to show up for his hearing, they will carry on the process. However, if Lochte does not appear before the the Brazilian justice, he cannot be sentenced. The penalty for false communication of a crime is 1 to 6 months in prison, according to G1.
Lochte’s attorney did not given an immediate response when E! News reached out to him.
