The Joy actor welcomed his first child with model Irina Shayk two weeks ago, PEOPLE reports.
Cooper has been dating the Russian supermodel for two years. This is the first child for each of them.

News of the couple’s pregnancy broke in November and shortly after Shayk’s baby bump was spotted on multiple occasions.
Cooper starred in one of 2014’s biggest hits, Guardians of the Galaxy, which shocked and delighted audiences worldwide. The space adventure highlighted unexplored characters from the Marvel Cinematic Universe, going on to gross more money than Captain America: The Winter Soldier, which explored the further adventures of Captain America.
The massive success of the film led to the announcement of a sequel, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, which will be landing in theaters in less than a month.
Next year will see the release of the third film in the Avengers franchise, which will feature some of the biggest heroes in the Marvel Cinematic Universe coming together.
Prior MCU films saw the division of intergalactic and terrestrial heroes, all being tied together with the concept of the Infinity Stones. The upcoming Infinity War will see all angles of the MCU coming together to fight Thanos, making it one of the most highly-anticipated films of 2018.
