On Thursday, the funeral for the late golf legend Arnold Palmer was held in Latrobe, Pennsylvania.

Close friends and family gathered for a private service as Palmer's ashes were spread at the Latrobe Country Club after one final flight above his hometown. This place had special significance to Palmer as it was the same area that his first wife Winnie's ashes were spread 17 years earlier, according to Golf Digest.

Shortly after the ceremony concluded, something amazing happened.

A incredibly vivid rainbow appeared over Latrobe hanging in the air directly above a statue of Arnold Palmer.

Gerry Dulac of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette posted a photo on Twitter with the caption: "check out this rainbow over Latrobe. They're calling it Arnie's Rainbow."

ESPN's Bob Valvano also shared a photo of the incredible sight. He posted the amazing pic with the caption: "A perfect rainbow today over statue of Arnold Palmer, as his ashes were spread around his property in Latrobe PA."

Another touching tribute to the fallen Golf legend took place at the tournament at Hazeltine. Palmer's 1975 Ryder Cup bag was placed on the 1st tee to honor Palmer's memory.

Arnold Palmer died on Sunday at the age of 87.
