HBO has released two versions of the new trailer for Westworld, and the upcoming series looks like it is going to be spectacularly epic.

Westworld is an hour-long forthcoming series from HBO inspired by the 1973 motion picture of the same title, written and directed by Michael Chrichton. The show revolves around an artificial world set in the re-created past in which its inhabitants can satisfy the appetites of every human desire you could imagine.

The primary focus of the tension will be between Evan Rachel Wood's Dolores Abernathy, a woman learning the truth surrounding her lack of humanity, and Anthony Hopkins' Dr. Robert Ford, who is the creative director of Westworld.

The stellar cast of Westworld includes: Anthony Hopkins, Ed Harris, James Marsden, Evan Rachel Wood, Thandie Newton, Jeffrey Wright, Tessa Thompson, Sidse Babett Knudsen, Jimmi Simpson, Rodrigo Santoro, Shannon Woodward, Ingrid Bolso Berdal, Ben Barnes, Simon Quarterman, Angelo Sarafyan, Luke Hemsworth and Clifton Collins, Jr.

Producing Westworld is Bad Robot Productions, Jerry Weintraub Productions and Kilter Films in association with Warner Bros. Television, according to to ComingSoon. The series is executive produced by J.J. Abrams, Jerry Weintraub, and Bryan Burk. Writing and directing the script is Jonathan Nolan, with Lisa Joy also writing and executive producing. The show will be presented in 10 episodes set to air this fall.

Westworld airs on Sunday, October 2 at 9 p.m. ET.
