Following a chart-topping single with Thomas Rhett, Maren Morris is joining forces with former One Direction member, Niall Horan for an upcoming duet called, “Seeing Blind.”

Variety reports that during the event on Wednesday, Horan appeared at Capitol Congress to share new music, including his collaboration with Morris. The publication goes on to state that Horan explained the duet came to be after he asked her by email if she’d like to join him on the duet, with Morris “happily” accepting.
Following the event, Morris herself confirmed the news by re-tweeting the magazine’s coverage of the event, including her tweet that only featured three emojis of the monkeys with their hands over their mouths, as if to insinuate she could not hold in her excitement.

The magazine goes on to state that the track has the potential to be a cross-genre hit, treading into pop music as it features Horan’s trademark bass and Morris on harmonies. While it is unclear when the single will release to the mass public, social media have been crawling with excitement and have been asking when they will be able to hear it.
The “My Church” singer is currently on the road with Sam Hunt as part of his 15 in a 30 Tour, and enjoying the success of her recent hits, including the duet with Rhett titled, “Craving You,” while diving into some major wedding planning.
