One of Jessica Simpson's most high-profile acting roles was her turn as Daisy Duke in the film adaptation of the classic show The Dukes of Hazzard. On Saturday, Simpson shared a throwback post that showed her in those famous Daisy-Duke shorts.

The photo Simpson shared is the theatrical poster for the movie that shows the star sitting on top of the family's infamous Dodge Charger, the "General Lee."

She's rocking her sexy Daisy attire in the film — a tight-fitting brown vest, high heels and those famous Daisy Duke shorts.

Alongside Simpson are her co-stars Willie Nelson, Johnny Knoxville, Seann William Scott and Burt Reynolds.

In Simpson's caption, she pointed out that the movie made 111.1 million dollars at the box office before making note of the short-shorts.

"I need to wear short shorts again," she wrote.

Not only was The Dukes of Hazzard one of Simpson's most memorable film roles, it yielded one of Simpson's most memorable singles and music videos.

As a tie-in to the movie, she covered Nancy Sinatra's "These Boots Are Made for Walkin'," and stayed in character for the video, which features her dancing in a Dukes-ready outfit around a country dive bar.
