CBS 2022 Holiday Movie and Special Schedule Revealed

CBS is getting festive this holiday season! As Halloween approaches and spooky season nears its end, the network is already getting a head start on the merry and bright, with CBS unveiling its complete 2022 holiday schedule, a lineup of movies, specials, and special holiday episodes that will get viewers in the spirit of the season.

Christmas begins on CBS on Nov. 11. The Great #AtHome Videos special delivers an hour of entertaining and heartfelt videos, including videos featuring awesome holiday cheer. The special will be the start of what will be a two-month-long celebration that will not only include three all-new CBS original holiday films – First For Christmas, Must Love Christmas, and When Christmas Was Young – but also several beloved holiday classics, including Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer and Frosty the Snowman. The holiday cheer will continue with special holiday episodes of fan-favorite shows, like Ghosts, which will air an hour-long special in December. The holiday events, which will also feature live coverage of the Thanksgiving Day Parade, will culminate in a grand celebration on Dec. 31, New Year’s Eve Live: Nashville’s Big Bash.

Nov. 11

The Great #AtHome Videos
Time: 8 p.m. ET
Synopsis: “‘Tis the season to share videos, and Cedric the Entertainer is serving up a double dose of holiday cheer with two of his GREATEST #ATHOMEVIDEOS specials. THE GREATEST #ATHOMETHANKS&GIVINGVIDEOS delivers a full hour of entertaining and heartfelt videos Cedric has found on Instagram, YouTube and TikTok. It’s bound to have viewers feeling warm and fuzzy as they begin the holiday season. Airs Friday, Nov. 11.

The Thanksgiving Day Parade
Time: 9 a.m. ET, 1 p.m. ET
Synopsis: “The Thanksgiving Day Parade returns to Sixth Avenue. This year’s special will take viewers on a tour of the most popular balloons and floats, including the iconic Santa Claus. The show will also feature musical performances and celebrity interviews.”

A Christmas Proposal

Synopsis: “This is the holiday tale of Audrey (Amanda Kloots of THE TALK), an enthusiastic Christmas-obsessed fitness instructor teaching classes at her beloved, financially beleaguered community center in quaint Mistletoe, Mont. She begins a holiday romance with a charming, mysterious businessman (Paul Greene), complicating his plans to turn the center into a more financially profitable resort property. National Christmas Tree Lighting: Celebrating 100 Years
