The License to Drive remake will update the story for modern times, with two female leads replacing the The Two Coreys. The original film followed a teen who fails his driver’s test, but still wants to impress the girl he’s going out with that night. He takes his grandfather’s prized Cadillac out for a night on the town – only to have the car suffer more and more damages, as a series of misadventures unfolds.
No word yet on a director for the project, or what two actresses the studio is looking at for the lead roles. We’ll keep you updated.
