On Friday, "Party Up" rapper DMX's son was born weighing in at 6 lbs, 10 oz. His name is Exodus Simmons, and will make baby number 15 for the 45-year-old father.

DMX's longtime girlfriend Desiree is Exodus' mother, and is her first child. While the rapper was unable to be present for the delivery of his son, as he was in Arizona at the time, he did however make it to NYC for the newborn's first night in the world.

X told TMZ that the baby is a "blessing," and that he is overjoyed.

If you're wondering how DMX has picked his baby mamas, he has quite a unique tactic that only DMX would describe. Check out the vine below where he jokes about picking his women just like a dog would pick its mate.

Congratulations to DMX and Desiree on the birth of their son Exodus Simmons, the rapper's 15th child.
