The Paleo diet takes you back in time to the Paleolithic Era when humans were hunters and gatherers, returning to their cave for their meals full of meats, fruits and veggies, heated on large stones. The diet is based on the idea that our bodies operate more efficiently on a natural regimen, only consuming  foods that are not processed including meat, veggies, fish, fruit, seeds and nuts. Basically if the food doesn’t exist naturally, then your body wasn’t made to process it.

Regardless of whether or not you follow the diet, a Paleo breakfast might be just what you need to get going in the morning. A protein-rich first meal will keep you fuller longer and give you the energy you need to start the day strong. Here are some great Paleo breakfast recipes to try for every breakfast lover!
