After a clip of Mariah Carey phoning in a dance routine went viral, Olivia Munn has poked fun at the clip in a new interview.
While promoting The LEGO NINJAGO Movie at San Diego Comic-Con, Munn was asked about her fandom for Carey, as she’s posted videos dancing to Carey’s songs before.

The interviewer asked her to show off some signature Carey moves, and Munn jokingly swayed around to her co-stars’ amusement.
“It’s more dancing than Mariah has done lately, if you saw what she’s been doing lately,” Munn said, referencing the viral clip of Carey barely swaying during a recent show. “Shots fired!”

Her LEGO co-stars, including Dave Franco and Kumail Nanjiani, seemed a bit confused by the remark, so she had to explaining the reference.
“I think it’s an accurate shot,” Munn continued. “She was in Vegas the other day, and then she danced the next night, showing everybody that she really could dance, but there was one video that went viral of her not really dancing that much.”
“Why do you hate Mariah Carey?” Nanjiani asked her jokingly.
“I love Mariah Carey!” Munn replied.
The jest was all centered around the clip, which started circulating on Monday, showing the “Touch My Body” singer not doing much of anything during a performance as a crew of back-up dancers go through the full motions.
It went viral after a Twitter user captioned the video, “Me doing the absolute bare minimum at work today.”
