When news broke that grocery chain Whole Foods had discovered its chicken salad contained tuna due to a labeling error, Jessica Simpson had the perfect response.
The 36-year-old fashion mogul posted an image of the Time article about the chicken/tuna mishap captioned “It happens to the best of us [Whole Foods].”

The tweet is a nod to Simpson’s own tuna confusion back in 2003 on her and then-husband Nick Lachey’s MTV reality show Newlyweds: Nick & Jessica.

In a scene that went viral 14 years ago, Simpson ate tuna and asked Lachey “is this chicken what I have, or is this fish? I know it’s tuna but it says, ‘Chicken by the Sea.’ Is that stupid?”
As E! News reports, the Whole Foods tweet isn’t the first time Simpson has been good-humored about her faux pas. Last November Simpson posted a photo of a chicken literally in the sea on Instagram and marked with the hashtag “Chicken of the sea.”
