Sources tell TMZ that the couple, along with their daughter, planned on attending a Los Angeles Dodgers game on Independence Day. As they got ready to leave the house, Bridgette lost feeling in her face and fell to the floor.
The 44-year-old was immediately transported to the hospital where the doctors performed a life-saving surgery.

Those same doctors discovered that Bridgette had a heart defect called patent foramen ovale, which means she had a hole in her heart. That is what triggered the stroke.
However, Bridgette will be fine as doctors sent her home on Friday, although she must return in a few weeks to have surgery to fix the defect. They expect her to make a full recovery.
