Former Road Rules star Danny Dias passed away in June, and the 34-year-old’s cause of death has officially been revealed as a result of complications from chronic substance abuse, TMZ reports.
It was previously reported that Dias had two lacerations on his forearm when he was found dead, but the cuts were determined not to have caused his death.

The Chief Medical Examiner in New York City shared that Dias died from natural causes brought on by years of substance abuse, and there was no evidence of any acute level of drugs in his system.
Dias starred on MTV‘s Road Rules in 2004, later appearing on The Challenge in 2005.
