Is there anything Ashley Graham can’t do? The body-positive, take-no-bull model is a daily inspiration to us, but last week she went a step further and introduced us to the life-saving bikini hack that’s going to significantly improve the summer for tons of women.
Ashley Graham posted an Instagram story wherein she revealed to us mere mortals how she avoids neck pain when wearing string bikinis โ a significant issue for those of us with (ahem) a little more going on up top. Though the story itself has since expired, it turns out that this little life-saver is the work of another inspirational lady, body-acceptance guru Allison Kimmey, who posted a full tutorial video. Check it out:

Let’s break it down: String bikinis? Fun. Neck pain from supporting the girls? Not fun. Tying each “neck” strap to the opposite “back” strap to create a (super cute) crisscross-back bikini? Genius.

Of course Graham would be the perfect person to turn us onto this hack โ not only is she known for her work with inclusive swimwear brand Swimsuits For All (not to mention her steamy swimsuit snaps in Sports Illustrated), but she has spoken out numerous times in the past about the challenges and joys of living with a body outside of sample size.
Try out this hack the next time you’re at the beach or pool, and see if if doesn’t significantly improve your day (and the ensuing evening, while you’re at it). Being free from neck pain โ Now that’s a good look.
