The police rained on Aaron's party this weekend after he was arrested for driving under the influence.
The former pop-star is now claiming that he shouldn't have gotten caught, and that he was only pulled over by the police because he was famous.
Aaron's rep told TMZ that Aaron was on the road promoting his new song when he noticed that his car's alignment was off. He pulled over to get it fixed it a nearby AutoZone in Cornelia, Georgia. While he was out of the car, Aaron was arrested.
The rep also states that there is surveillance footage to prove that he wasn't even in the car at the time.
Carter and his girlfriend were both also charged with possession of marijuana and possession of drug-related products, and there's allegedly a reason behind that as well. Carter reportedly has a medical marijuana license since he suffers from anxiety.
To my brother: I love u no matter what & if u feel the need to reach for help, I am here and willing to help you get better.— Nick Carter (@nickcarter) July 16, 2017
Aaron's older brother Nick, a member of the Backstreet Boys, reached out to his brother via Twitter, offering to help him out whenever he needed it. Aaron didn't appreciate the gesture. He claims that his brother should have called him, not put their business out on social media.
"If my own blood truly cared about my well-being, why wouldn't he call me directly and have a conversation instead of making this about him through a very public forum? That's not cool at all to use me for his PR and kick me while I am down. I love my family despite it through thick and thin."
