Chrissy Teigen courageously revealed to the world that she struggles with postpartum depression on Monday, March 6. In an essay for Glamour, she candidly spoke about her battle with the disease following her daughter’s birth in April.
Despite her daily struggles, the model‘s main focus has always been daughter. Following her brave announcement, the model took to Snapchat with 10-month-old Luna and filmed goofy videos.

Teigen announced her battle with postpartum depression in the Glamour essay, writing, “I didn’t think it could happen to me. I have a great life. I have all the help I could need, but postpartum does not discriminate. “
The Sports Illustrated model took to Instagram on Monday to thank her fans for all their support, writing, “One of the most amazing things about social media is the ability to interact candidly with friends and fans and it felt so weird knowing what I was going through but not really feeling like it was the right place to speak on it. I’ve always felt genuinely close to all of you and I’m insanely relieved you now know something that has been such a huge part of me for so long.”

One thing Teigen does not want changing after this announcement is the way people treat her.
“Important note: please don’t feel like you have to tiptoe around me! It is the most uncomfortable feeling ahhhh only downside to sharing PPD,” she wrote on twitter following the release of the essay. “All of a sudden everyone’s ‘how are you!’ turns to ‘how arrrrrre you??????’ know what I’m saying? No? Yes? Ah.”

After the essay was published, Teigen went back to her normal daily routine, which sometimes includes taking Snapchat photos and videos with her daughter Luna.
She first filmed Luna adorably wearing an oversized Adidas baseball cap on backwards.

Then, the mother-daughter duo switched to the funny bear filter.
In the video, Teigen excitedly asks Luna, “What is this?”
The short clip also features a cameo of Teigen’s mom Vilailuck and their English bulldog, Puddy.
