Congratulations to the happy couple! Dough Hehner and Jamie Otis from Married at First Sight’s first season are expecting their first child together!
“We can’t wait to start this new chapter of our lives,” Otis told PEOPLE. “Being a mom has been my dream.”

Otis, who was a contestant on Ben Flajnik’s season of The Bachelor as well, is thrilled to see her life taking shape. Hehner’s sentiments echo that of the expectant mother.
“It feels like we’re just now truly starting our lives together. It’s the icing on the cake for us to be starting our family and we’re absolutely over the moon.”
Of course, it hasn’t necessarily been rainbows and butterflies all the time for the pair who met on their wedding day.
“We certainly worked on the relationship, and I think when you’re in the trenches and you make it out together, you become stronger as a couple,” Hehner said on the Today show Tuesday.
Still, at four months pregnant, Otis is ready for motherhood and all the adventures it will bring.
“In a way, it’ll be just like our marriage: Parents at First Sight,” Hehner joked “We can’t wait to lay eyes on this little miracle of ours!”
