Carrie Underwood Hits the Beach With Hubby Mike Fisher on Sixth Anniversary

Carrie Underwood took a break from the spotlights and Mike Fisher took a break from the ice to catch some rays in Mexico.

The 33-year-old country superstar and 36-year-old Nashville Predators centre took a trip to the beach in the lead-up to celebrating their upcoming wedding anniversary.

The singer is in the midst of the Storyteller Tour: Stories in the Round, but had a month of downtime. She'll be back on the road for her next tour date on July 22, but until then she's taking advantage of some much deserved downtime.

The couple will celebrate six years together on Sunday, E! News reports.

In June, Carrie revealed that her family — including 16-month-old son Isaiah — would be getting some rest sooner rather than later.

"I think we're going to try and take a vacation this year. It's been a couple of years since we've gone anywhere, so we deserve that," the singer told Extra."We just like to relax. Give us a beach somewhere, a lake—we're good. We're easy to please."

Underwood made sure Isaiah would be entertained. "I'm always looking up baby-friendly things to do in wherever we are…He loves being outside. I want him to have childhood normalcy…We take him down to the pools, and the hotels and let him splash around because a kid would do that."
