Anna Faris is opening up about her split from Chris Pratt.

During her weekly podcast, Unqualified, the 40-year-old actress offered relationship advice to a caller. Faris stressed the importance of understanding one's "worth" and "independence."

"Life is too short to be in relationships where you feel this isn't fully right or somebody doesn't have your back, or somebody doesn't fully value you," she said. "Don't be afraid to feel your independence if things aren't right."

The Mom star then hinted at the "mistake" she made in her own marriage.

"I made that mistake, I think, a little bit, like 'I'm checking my relationship off the list' and if that would be the final piece of advice I could give you, that would be know your worth, know your independence," she said.

Earlier in her podcast, Faris made her first statements in which she shared her appreciation for fans during her separation from her Guardians of the Galaxy star husband.

"Hey, dear listeners," she said. "I just want to thank you all so much for all the love I've been receiving, and I truly love you."

Pratt and Faris announced their split on social media. The two penned a joint statement to announce their separation.

"We are sad to announce we are legally separating," the duo wrote. "We tried hard for a long time, and we're really disappointed. Our son has two parents who love him very much and for his sake we want to keep this situation as private as possible moving forward. We still love each other and will always cherish our time together."

As to why Pratt and Faris decided to call it quits, an insider told Us Weekly that there was tension due to his rise to the top in Hollywood.

"Chris became this huge movie star and Anna wasn't getting any big jobs," a source said. "She was the more famous and sexy one at the start of their relationship and then things took a turn."
