Just like the dragon-children of Daenerys Targaryen, this season of Game of Thrones cannot be stopped!
For the third time in seventh season, Game of Thrones set new all-time ratings records for HBO. ‘Eastwatch‘, the episode that aired this past Sunday, was viewed by 10.7 million people.

This number was well above the previous record of 10.2 million viewers, which was set by Game of Thrones just one week earlier. Before that the record was 10.1 million viewers during this season’s Game of Thrones premiere.
More and more people are tuning in to Game of Thrones on Sunday nights. However, that still hasn’t slowed down the weekly viewings of the episodes. With help from DVR playback, on-demand, HBO GO, and HBO NOW, the first two episodes of this season have now been viewed over 30 million times each.
Normally, this past episode would mark the halfway point in a Game of Thrones season, which normally consists of 10 installments. But, as you probably already know, this is a shortened season of only seven episodes.
So, with only two episodes remaining in the season, it wouldn’t be a surprise to see Game of Thrones break its own record again in 2017.
The next episode of Game of Thrones will air on HBO this Sunday night at 9 p.m.
