Hollywood superstars Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon are teaming up to become a TV powerhouse.
It has been more than a decade since Aniston, 48, ended her run with Friends and she is set to make a huge return alongside her Oscar winner pal in an all new series. The show is set to explore morning shows and the larger New York media scene, according to THR.

This wouldn’t be the first time that Aniston and Witherspoon shared the screen together. Most memorably, Witherspoon portrayed Aniston’s younger sister on Friends. In real life, the two have remained close pals over the years.

While both actresses are hugely popular on the big screen, Witherspoon has managed to find great success on the critically-acclaimed HBO mini-series Big Little Lies. In the past, Aniston has opened up about wanting to come back to the small screen.
“I’ve thought about [returning to TV] a lot. That’s where the work is,” Aniston said while talking to Variety in January. “That’s where the quality is. At this point in my career, I want to be part of wonderful stories, exciting characters, and also just having a good time.”
The new project is expected to be shopped around to cable outlets like HBO or streaming services such as Netflix. Given that Aniston and Witherspoon are megastars, it’s expected that the show will garner significant interest from a number of bidders.
