Willa was dressed in a white and blue striped dress with a bowed headband to match, while Rhett wore a white t-shirt. The country superstar held his daughter up for the snaps while he smiled and pointed at the camera before giving his little girl a kiss on the cheek.
Willa had a few different facial expressions as well for the photos, with the middle pose being a kissy face.
“Me and Willa after church this morning,” Rhett captioned the snap, adding the crying-laughing emoji.
Rhett and his wife Lauren Akins welcomed their daughter from Uganda in May after a long adoption process. The couple is also expecting their second daughter, who is due on August 8.
In addition to his home life, it has been an exciting few weeks for the singer’s music. He recently dropped his new single, “Unforgettable,” off of his upcoming 2017 album.
“We kind of told the story of, basically, it could be a boyfriend or it could be a husband, describing to his wife all these amazing details that she probably thought he’d forgotten about,” he says of the track.
