After weeks of teasing fans with ’70s-inspired clips and a lyric video, Selena Gomez has officially released the music video for “Fetish,” the latest single from her as-yet-unannounced album.

Based on the teasers, the vibe of the clip is exactly what you’d expect — nostalgic, ethereal and oh-so-dreamy — but the actual content quickly veers into sexy-creepy territory.

Directed by Petra Collins, the video opens on a quiet suburban street as Gomez heads into a home with bags of groceries.

Once inside, the singer proceeds to tie a string around her tongue, throw her groceries against the wall, put her tongue through and eyelash curler and get drenched in water an elaborately set dining room table, among other eccentric behaviors.

Gomez then ends up in a freezer surrounded by peaches, as one does, and proceeds to eat a tube of lipstick and bar of soap.

The singer recently confirmed on Instagram that she and Collins were going for horror-movie vibes with the song’s treatment, commenting “That’s right!” on a fan’s caption which read, “This looks like it’s straight out of a horror movie.”

The 25-year-old’s previous release, “Bad Liar,” is also believed to be from her upcoming album.
