Kevin didn’t wait too long to move on, and neither did Erinn Hayes.
Following her shocking exit from the hit CBS comedy Kevin Can Wait, which saw Kevin James’ former on-screen wife Leah Remini take over, Hayes has landed her next big role. The actress will star in The Dangerous Book for Boys, an upcoming comedy series from Amazon.

HBO Gives Curb Your Enthusiasm Season 9 A Premiere Date
According to Deadline, Hayes has been cast to play Beth, the mother of the series, alongside veteran actor Chris Diamantopoulos.
The Dangerous Book for Boys is being created by Breaking Bad star Bryan Cranston and Superbad director Greg Mottola, and it’s based on the book of the same name by Conn and Hal Iggulden. Cranston has already found success on Amazon, having developed the Giovanni Ribisi dramedy Sneaky Pete.

The series centers around Wyatt (Gabriel Bateman) and his brothers who are dealing with the loss of their dad, Patrick (Diamantopoulos). Before he died, Patrick wrote a life guidebook for his three sons titled “The Dangerous Guidebook For Boys” hoping that it they would be inspired to live life to the fullest. Unfortunately, this book brings on fantasies in the mind of Wyatt, where Patrick lives on and helps teach him the lessons in the book.
Hayes plays Beth, the widowed wife of Patrick and mother to Wyatt and his brothers. She has to try her best to hold the family together following the loss of their patriarch.
The Dangerous Book for Boys will film in New York this summer with Mottola serving as the series director.
