A stage musical version of Harold Ramis and Bill Murray’s Groundhog Day will be premiering this spring at Broadway’s August Wilson Theatre in New York, producers announced Tuesday.
The musical made its debut last month at The Old Vic in London and will make its Broadway premiere April 17, 2017.

The stage adaptation will follow the same storyline as the film. Phil Connors is a Pittsburgh weatherman who gets stuck in a time loop in Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania, but ends up falling for the love of his life.
Tickets will go on pre-sale through Ticketmaster starting on October 12, with general sale starting October 26.
