Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose are officially teammates again. The two have been flirting for a week now, but RAW General Manager, Kurt Angle, sealed the deal. Next week, 2/3 of the Shield will face the Miz and his Miztourage.

All of this started when Dean Ambrose opened RAW. He wasted no time in challenging the Miz while brandishing a steel chair. But he didn't get Miz, he got his old pal, Seth Rollins.

The two would go on to cut a pretty solid dueling promo. Dean still can't get over Rollins' betrayal from three years ago. Rollins emphatically pointed out that it was so long ago and that he was...sorry. Yes, Rollins has officially apologized for his backstabbing actions from 2014.

Rollins would continue to strengthen his case in saying that was Ambrose who he fought at Hell in Call. It was Ambrose who cashed in his Money in the Bank briefcase to snatch Rollin's WWE Championship. So to the Kingslayer, he and Ambrose are just about even-steve.

But that wasn't enough for the Lunatic Fringe.

Now frustrated, Seth turns his back on Ambrose, begging him to smash him with the chair. To Rollins' apparently this is the only way Dean can get over past transgressions; he needs to hurt Rollins. Well, Dean couldn't pull the trigger. He tossed the chair.

Now that the weapons were gone, cue the Miz. He and his cronies decided on Miz and his Miztourage like hyenas. Using chairs of their own, the evil threesome would put a good whacking on the Shield brothers.

That was all the incentive Rollins and Ambrose needed. When plotting their revenge, Kurt Angle entered the picture and said they could have a match with any member of the Miztourage they wanted. Ambrose wanted them all, so all is what they'll get - a 2 on 3 handicap match next week.

WWE is clearly going somewhere with Rollins and AMbrose. They did a great job of folding in tension in tonight's opening segment, all of this could be leading to a match or least to an airbase heel turn. Either way, it's exciting to watch. Don't look now, but WWE is on a hot streak in terms of crafting up long term stories.
