It’s been a bloodbath in Hollywood when it comes to TV cancellations as of late. Some thought networks and streaming services would be more hesitant to cut shows due to the disadvantages of pulling off her productions during the coronavirus pandemic. However, almost the opposite has been true, especially based on what we’ve seen in August.

Content homes have been axing shows left and right, with budgets seemingly being a driving factor. Some shows were even renewed, but with added difficulties and costs incurred during the shows were no longer feasible to produce.
