Many of the images in the gallery take fans back through the wild battle north of the wall. Daenerys’ dragons are seen blazing fire down onto the ice below, and the Night King’s army looks as formidable as ever. There’s also a great shot of that undead polar bear, growling right into the camera.
On the more somber side of things, HBO released a couple of images depicting the fallen heroes from “Beyond the Wall.”
In one photo, Thoros of Myr cracks his last wry smile, and fans get a chance to mourn the loss of the Red Priest.
Coldhands himself, Benjen Stark, is also seen in one of the images. Benjen rode in to save the day when Jon Snow seemed to be gone for good, and he ended up sacrificing himself to send the King in the North riding back to Eastwatch.
In perhaps the most terrifying image of them all, that final shot from the episode was released among this batch of photos. The now-blue eye of Viserion stares directly into the camera, and everyone now knows just how dangerous the Night King can be.
