It’s been a week since GLOW was released on Netflix and we’ve all had ample time to binge the series. The 10-parter revolves around a fictionalized version of the 1980s syndicated women’s pro wrestling program originally created by David McLane. The first season has been praised by critics with a 97% score on Rotten Tomatoes, which comes as no surprise to most of us considering just how many quality shows Netflix has been producing the last couple of years.
With that said, we here at PopCulture.com decided to go back and pick the “10 Best” original Netflix series and there were plenty from which to choose.

Take for example our No. 3 pick, House of Cards, starring Kevin Spacey as Machiavellian Congressman turned President Frank Underwood, and Robin Wright as his equally power-hungry wife Claire.
The series has received positive acclaim and was the first online-released show thus far to win an Emmy award. If you haven’t seen it, the series follows the Underwoods and their underhanded, but always entertaining, rise to the presidency by way of cold-blooded, pragmatic scheming. While the fictional show’s theme of ruthless manipulation might seem over-dramatic to some, many feel it doesn’t ring completely false and is, in fact, completely relevant considering today’s modern political climate.
