Jessa Seewald Welcomes Second Son During ‘Counting On’ Episode

It’s a baby boy!

On the latest episode of Counting On, home video footage showed 24-year-old Jessa Seewald giving birth to her second son.

The Duggar family member had been worried about giving birth this time around, after her first time resulted in being rushed to the hospital due to heavy blood loss. However, there was nothing worth panicking over this time around. Everything went smoothly, and everyone was okay after the birth.

The video footage that was featured on the show depicted a mush easier process, a labor that lasted hours rather than days. The process, which was filmed back in February, resulted in the birth of Henry Wilberforce.

Jessa, along with 22-year-old husband Ben, stayed on their home couch during labor. As soon as it was over, Ben was seen saying to Jessa, “You did it, babe.”

Other members of the Duggar family were in attendance, and they celebrated the occasion with the young couple.

“When the baby was finally here, I just couldn’t believe it. I just started crying,” Jessa said later on. “Ben was there, he was crying, too.”

Jessa went on to describe the feeling of giving birth as a joyous occasion, rather than a painful or troubled one.

“All the stress of labor was behind us and you just look at that little miracle of a baby in your arms…there’s nothing like it in the world.”
