The Seattle Seahawks quarterback married singer Ciara 2016, and the couple is currently expecting their first child together.
Carrie Underwood
Underwood reportedly said in 2007 (via Fox News) that she would wait until marriage to have sex due to her Christian faith. She married hockey player Mike Fisher in 2010, and the couple share son Isaiah, 2.
Tim Tebow
The athlete revealed in a press conference in 2009 that he was waiting until marriage to have sex.
“Yes, I am [waiting until marriage],” Tebow said at the time (quote via the Christian Post). “I think you’re stunned right now. You can’t even ask a question … I was ready for that question, but I don’t think y’all were.”
Jessica Simpson
Simpson famously waited to have sex until her wedding night when she married ex-husband Nick Lachey in 2002.
“It was the most amazing moment of my life,” she said of told Blender (via Popdirt) at the time. “I’m so lucky I didn’t lose my virginity in the back of a Jeep or something. Instead, I had this amazing, elaborate wedding and I topped it off with that.”
Adriana Lima
The Victoria’s Secret stunner told GQ in 2006 that she was waiting until marriage due to her Catholic faith. She married basketball player Marko Jaric in 2008, but they separated in 2014.
“[Men] have to respect that this is my choice,” she said at the time. “If there’s no respect, that means they don’t want me.”
Kathie Lee Gifford
The talk show host revealed in her 1992 autobiography that she waited until she married her first husband, Paul Johnson.
“It was, like, YABBA-DABBA-DOO! I lost every inhibition I’d ever had. It was time for candles and romance, time to boogie and swing from the chandeliers,” she wrote (quote via People). “And yet we just couldn’t seem to get relaxed with each other.”
“We saved ourselves for so long and expected it to be so good because we had done it ‘right,’” she added. “It was not passionate, and it was not successful, but it was polite.”
Andy Grammer
The singer married wife Aijia in 2012, and the couple is currently expecting their first child.
Kevin Jonas
The only Jonas brother to hold onto his purity ring pledge, Jonas waited until he wed wife Danielle in 2009 to do the deed.
