It’s been awhile since beloved T.R. Knight was on Grey’s Anatomy, or since 2005 to 2009 to be exact, however fans can get excited because the adorable doctor is teaming up with Shondaland again in 2017, E! reports.
The actor’s popularity is still alive and going strong. In fact, Allan Heinberg announced that the role was indeed “created and written especially for him.” A great compliment for Knight who will be starring in a recurring role for season two of The Catch.

Even executive producer Shonda Rhimes couldn’t contain her excitement “This has been a thrilling secret to keep…one of my favorite family members is home!”
Enthusiastically Knight says the feeling is mutual, “Working with Shonda, Betsy and Allan again fills me with immense joy. I am heartened to be returning to Shondaland and excited to work with this exceptional cast!”
We can’t wait to “catch” Knight back in Shonda’s TV land!
