General Hospital Star Tyler Christopher Won’t Return To Show

Daytime Emmy-winner Tyler Christopher will not be returning to General Hospital.

Christopher played Nikolas Cassadine in the soap opera, before taking a hiatus in May. In June, the character was recast with Nick Stabile playing the part of the wealthy aristocrat.

This is not the first time Christopher has been replaced in the role.

Soap Opera Digest reports that the shake up has taken place because the actor’s contract negotiations with ABC fell apart. Christopher will not return in September as originally rumored.
