Time magazine named Demi Lovato as one of the most influential people of 2017, thanks to her messages of support and guidance to her fans who struggle with body issues and substance abuse, which she looks like she’s been celebrating on her social media pages with a series of skin-filled selfies.
The photos the singer has been posting run a wide range of messages, from simple observations about how she doesn’t “know if it’s physically possible for me to get any more tan” to messages of inspiration.

Arianna Huffington described the singer in the Time profile, saying, “Demi is using her hard-won wisdom to benefit others. After being diagnosed with bipolar disorder, instead of hiding it she partnered with Be Vocal, a campaign devoted to getting people to speak up about mental illness and the stigma around it.”
When you look like Lovato, it’s hard to post any type of photo featuring a bathing suit that won’t shock and impress your followers.

Last week, Lovato titillated her followers by posting a photo of herself that was a closeup of her face, commenting on how many freckles she had. However, fans were quick to note that the background appeared to be a bathroom and her hair appeared wet, in addition to her shoulder appearing bare.
It’s unclear if Lovato was wearing any clothes at all, but based on the one photo, it’s possible she was merely wearing a tube top.
She also posted an innocent photo of herself in the passenger seat of a car, talking about her excitement over an upcoming video.
The photo didn’t have as laid back of a vibe as her post about her freckles, but her appearance was a little more polished than the closeup of her face.
Lovato followed up the relatively innocent posts with a slightly more sultry photo, full of cleavage while she was wearing a bikini.
The photo was clearly a hit with her fans, as it earned her nearly 2 million likes. She opted to post the image without a caption, which could have merely been an opportunity to spread her joy with her fans, as she had a smile spread across her face.
The performer began her professional career at the age of ten, debuting in the children’s TV show Barney & Friends. In addition to acting, she also took on guitar, singing, and dancing lessons, adding to her skills on the piano.
Sadly, her appearance on the TV show also led to bullying, leading to her request to be homeschooled.
The outfit from the photo above got more attention a few days later, as she shared another photo of herself in the skimpy swimsuit, adding the caption, “No filter no edit, love your body the way it is ?”.
As Spring approaches, temperatures are heating up, which has caused the singer to bust out her swimsuits.
The swimsuits in question also appear as though Lovato is the one busting out, with their plunging necklines, showing off her curves.
Lovato made a name for herself by starring in the Disney hits Camp Rock and the series Sonny with a Chance, making her a hit with hordes of young fans.
Sadly, her exposure to the entertainment industry at a young age also meant doors were opened for her to experiment with drugs and alcohol. The singer first checked herself into rehab at age 18, seeking help for her struggles with depression and self-medicating.
Following her many attempts at treatment for a variety of conditions, Lovato has been sober for five years and participates in many charities, specifically those dealing with bullying and eating disorders.
As if to remind herself of how much progress she’s made, and knowing how good she looked in the swimsuit, the singer then revealed a full-on photo of the swimsuit, including the caption, “Why not? ?”
