For the popular segment on James Corden’s Late Late Show, “Carpool Karaoke” with Britney Spears just might be the best one yet.
The Late Late Show released the first teaser for the forthcoming karaoke session on Tuesday, and the brief clip shows Corden and the queen of pop jamming out to her 2003 smash hit “Toxic.”

After singing along to the song for a moment, Corden then mentions Britney’s kids Sean and Jayden. Corden asks if Britney’s sons have seen her Las Vegas show “Piece of Me,” and after she says that they have, Corden responds with a similar experience where he saw his mom in minimal clothing at a young age.
“I saw my mum in her underwear once when I was like, 11,” he recalled. “I can’t shake the image from my brain.” Spears playfully smacked Corden on the shoulder, and laughed off the ridiculous comment.
Britney decided to strap in for the wild ride alongside James Corden in order to promote her new album Glory. The upcoming project will be the ninth studio album for the 34-year-old pop superstar.
Spears recently told V magazine about the new album: “”It’s not what you would think at all. It’s the best thing I’ve done in a long time. I’m proud of the work, and it’s very different; It’s not what you would think at all. But I’m not rushing anything. I just want it to be done right, so that my fans will truly appreciate it.”
Look for Britney Spears on The Late Late Show on CBS this Thursday.
