Like most episodes of Big Bang Theory, fans are often left feeling warm and fuzzy about the crazy antics of the characters. This week, season 10 episode 14 “The Emotion Detector Automation,” is no exception.

This week’s episode found Raj back on the market, which is always an awkward situation for his character, especially given his history with women. That history is exactly what is putting Raj down and causing a bit of anxiety for him. As it turns out, Sheldon suffers from a similar kind of anxiety, though his is usually related to the fact that he doesn’t have very many social skills.

Enter Bernadette, who happens to know of a device that people use to help figure out how people are really feeling. In a group of socially awkward scientists, a married couple with a baby, and a couple who tends to fight a lot, what could go wrong? Well, apparently a lot.
