This amazing photo of a lightning strike posted by the U.S. Department of the Interior looks exactly like a T-Rex that would swallow you whole. Park Ranger at the Petrified Forest National Park, Hallie Larsen, captured the unusual lightning burst that looks like a giant dinosaur about to chomp down on the mesa below. The photo was taken in Arizona as the monsoon season has been bringing some crazy cool storms along with it.

The U.S. Department of the Interior shared the pic on Facebook with the caption: "Have you ever seen lightning make such crazy shapes? This bolt looks like a Tyrannosaurus rex getting ready to chomp a formation at Blue Mesa in Arizona's Petrified Forest National Park. Monsoons usher in summer lightning, so explore safely and be sure to check the weather. Photo by Hallie Larsen, National Park Service."

Since sharing it on Facebook, the U.S. Department of the Interior has received over 13k likes and over 5k shares on the photo while an Instagram version of the pic has received around 35k likes. The comments on the photo have prompted a list of other responses saying that the lightning looks like: the front half of a bear diving downward, Godzilla, a snake, a cougar stalking its prey, and a heart-shaped balloon.

One Facebook user named Phil Kukulski took it a step further when he posted a picture of the original photo superimposed with an image of a T-Rex to match the outline of the lightning.

Did you see a T-Rex when you first looked at the picture?
