During a half marathon in Salt Lake City over the weekend, one superhero mom named Anna Young somehow managed to pump mid-run during the race. The incredible moment was caught on camera, and Young later shared the image on the Facebook page Occupy Breastfeeding.

Because a half marathon is quite a time-consuming event, Anna Young was forced to put her multi-tasking skills to the test if she wanted to complete the race without stopping. As it turns out, she is an absolute champ and was able to use a hand pump without even stopping to sit down.

On September 11, Young posted the photo on Occupy Breastfeeding's Facebook wall with the caption: "Yesterday I ran a half marathon at five months postpartum. I had to leave at 4:30 am and the race started at 6:45 am. I nursed my daughter before I left my house, pumped after running the first 8 miles and nursed her after I made it past the finish line. This group and Le leche league motivated me to find a way to run my race and take care of my daughter."

Since posting on Facebook, the photo has already received more than 7.6k likes and over 1,200 shares.

"I was nervous about figuring out how to run and nurse or pump," Young explained to Babble. "I remember reading about one of my former teammates who competed in a triathlon and she did something similar. I originallly planned on sitting at one of the aid stations or on the side of the course, but I was so excited about how well I was running I decided to walk and pump at the same time."

While the photo is nothing short of amazing, Young stills remains pretty humble about all of it. "I hope I've helped encouraged other mothers that we really can accomplish just about anything while we care for our children," she stated.

We commend Anna Young for sharing this inspiring photo, and for being such an encouragement to mothers everywhere.
