Taylor Swift Cuts 7 Songs From 'The Eras Tour' Movie
Not all 40+ songs from The Eras Tour made it to the film.
"The Archer"
"The Archer" is the final song on the Lover setlist. So when the film went straight to the Fearless era after Swift sang the title track, it was definitely a shock.
prevnext"'tis the damn season"
Unfortunately, "'tis the damn season" is not too much of a surprise. The evermore track had been cut from the setlist while sister group HAIM opened up for Swift. The four collaborated on the song "no body, no crime" for evermore, which replaced "'tis the damn season" on the setlist. Considering HAIM opened for the LA shows, it's not a surprise. But it still hurts.

As previously mentioned, HAIM performed the murder mystery track "no body, no crime" with Taylor Swift at the LA shows, which is where the concert film was recorded. Since Swift didn't include any special guests from any of her shows, it's possible she just wanted it to be her and the fans. Since HAIM only opened up for select shows, many fans didn't get to see them, so it's definitely disappointing. However, there is always the possibility of an extended version.
prevnext"Long Live"
Nothing will probably be as surprising as "Long Live" getting cut from the film. Dedicated to the Swifties, Taylor Swift only started performing the song live in July after Speak Now (Taylor's Version) released. Before then, it was only "Enchanted" as part of the Speak Now era. This means that fans who went to see the concert prior to the album releasing weren't able to see it live and were likely hoping to see it in the film (like me). Why the song wasn't included is beyond me, but the studio version from the rerecord is used for the end credits. However, it's just not the same.
prevnext"seven (interlude)"
While not technically sung, it's still a song that was cut. Swift uses the lyrics from the folklore song "seven" as a poem. It's played as an interlude as the stage is set up for the folklore set. It's beautiful and sets the scene for folklore.
prevnext"cardigan"
The first single from folklore and 1/3 of the fictional love triangle on the album, "cardigan," is one of the more surprising cuts. There's really not much else to say, just the fact that it's heartbreaking and a crime that "cardigan" isn't on the list.
prevnext"Wildest Dreams"
With 1989 (Taylor's Version) almost here, this one is just puzzling. "Wildest Dreams" was yet another surprise cut from the film, especially since the rerecord is coming out soon.
