Adele's initial thoughts on motherhood? The same as every other mother's, probably.
"It's f------ hard," she said. "I thought it would be easy. 'Everyone f------ does it, how hard can it be?' Ohhhhh... I had no idea."
Even though being a mom is tough, Adele calls having a baby with her longtime partner Simon Konceki the greatest thing she's ever done.
"It is hard but it's phenomenal. It's the greatest thing I ever did. [...] It used to be that my own world revolved around me, but now it has to revolve around him."

She knows that Angelo's childhood is "worlds away" from her childhood. After all, she was raised in a working-class background by a single mom.
"I had a great childhood. I was very loved, which I realise now is so important, being a mum. The way I was brought up, the morals are the same, but the environment is very different to how I'm raising my child. It was fun and it's worlds away from what I do now and I'm very conscious of that."

Adele also mentioned how difficult it was to leave Angelo behind, even only briefly, to shoot the music video for "Hello" in Toronto.
"It was the most exhausting thing ever, being without my baby," she said.

And of course, she has the best explanation for why she didn't attend the Skyfall premiere, even though she wrote and performed the theme song.
"I gave birth a few nights before the Skyfall premiere, that's why I didn't do anything for it," she said. "He was about to drop out my fanny at, like, any moment."
Could we love her any more?
After all she has accomplished in her career, she will always put her son first. In fact, when she finished the first leg of her world tour in November, the first thing she did was share this sweet banner that Angelo helped make.
Here's to hoping Adele and Konecki have another sweet cherub sometime soon — it's not like she hasn't alluded to it before!
