She’s ageless! Gabrielle Union looks like she hasn’t aged a bit in the past decade, and we’re dying to know her secret. The Being Mary Jane star recently dished on how she maintains her killer body.

We’ll get to her workout in a minute, but it doesn’t hurt, of course that her family is extremely active. The 44-year-old told Us Weekly that she and NBA husband Dwayne Wade spend a lot of time outdoors with her stepsons, Zaire, 13, and Zion, 8, and Wade’s nephew Dahveon, 13.

“We have a basketball court at our house, so we have shooting contests and a game of 21,” she says. “And the boys were into those hoverboard scooter things, so I jog alongside them with the dogs.”

Back to her workout โ€” Union says that she’s a big fan of high intensity interval training.

“I do interval training,” Union toldย Everyday Health. “It’s the best thing for your heart and it’s the best thing to either kick start your weight loss or maintain your weight loss.”

When she’s on the road filming and crunched for time, Union works out in her trailer.

“When I’m in my trailer and I just don’t have time to go to a gym โ€” I’d rather sleep โ€“ I’ll do 20 jumping jacks, I’ll run in place for like 30 seconds, I’ll drop down and do 10 pushups and 10 sit-ups, and I’ll do 15 curls [with 5-pound weights] and 15 squats. I try to get that done in a minute and a half to two minutes and then I’ll repeat.”

She offers some pretty good advice for staying active on those days when you can’t squeeze in a workout.

“You know every little bit helps โ€“ being sedentary is not your friend. Just work in little bits if you can’t get to the gym.”

Union is also a fan of Pilates, even though it requires her to wake up early in the morning.

“I’m not a morning person, but I have to work out early because of my schedule. The great thing about Pilates is that I can take out my annoyance from waking up early on the machines instead of human beings. It’s for the greater good. My body responds to it, and I’m also more clear.”

As for how the actress stays so ageless? It turns out that she drinks a gallon of water every day.

“I get asked all the time how I look so young,” she admitted to Women’s Healthย in her March cover issue interview. “I don’t like needles. I’m not going to rule out Botox, but the idea of putting a needle in my face… I’m not there yet. I have pretty oily skin, I drink a lot of water, I don’t smoke, and I don’t have a hard life. Of course, as I’ve aged, everything on my body hurts! My hips, back, shouldersโ€”lots of aches and pains. I dye my hair and people say, ‘You look young,’ but my gray hairs are saying, ‘She’s old as f—!’”
