Disney's anticipated animated film Moana has received its third trailer and its the best look at the two main characters we've received thus far.

The film is simply gorgeous, with a mix of blissful warmth and calming waves occupying the screen at all times. When it does go a bit darker, it makes an even bigger impression. This is also the most we've seen of Moana's water based abilities, seen after Maui tosses her off the boat. You can view the new trailer in the clip above.

Three thousand years ago, the greatest sailors in the world voyaged across the vast Pacific, discovering the many islands of Oceania. But then, for a millennium, their voyages stopped – and no one knows why. From Walt Disney Animation Studios comes "Moana," a sweeping, CG-animated feature film about an adventurous teenager who sails out on a daring mission to save her people. During her journey, Moana (voice of Auli'i Cravalho) meets the once-mighty demigod Maui (voice of Dwayne Johnson), who guides her in her quest to become a master wayfinder. Together, they sail across the open ocean on an action-packed voyage, encountering enormous monsters and impossible odds, and along the way, Moana fulfills the ancient quest of her ancestors and discovers the one thing she's always sought: her own identity.

The film stars Dwayne Johnson (HBO's "Ballers," "Central Intelligence") as the demigod Maui and newcomer Auli'i Cravalho voices the title character, Moana. The cast also includes Jemaine Clement ("What We Do in the Shadows," Flight of the Conchords) as Tamatoa, Rachel House ("Whale Rider," "Hunt for the Wilderpeople") as Gramma Tala, Temuera Morrison ("Star Wars: Episode II – Attack of the Clones," "Six Days, Seven Nights") as Moana's father, Chief Tui. Nicole Sherzinger (Grammy®-nominated singer, West End's "Cats") as Moana's mother,Sina, and Alan Tudyk ("Zootopia," "Wreck-It Ralph") as Heihei.

Moana hits theaters on November 23, 2016.
