A fight between Ronda Rousey and Cris Cyborg is exactly what UFC fans have been waiting for, and UFC President Dana White is trying to make it a reality.

It's a dream match-up that has been talked about for a while, but after Rousey was brutally knocked out by Holly Holm, fans wondered if it would ever happen. On the other hand, Cyborg made her successful UFC debut earlier this year and has another fight scheduled for Saturday in Brazil. Thankfully, White still has faith that putting these two fighters in the cage is the right move.

"I think in a perfect world, what everybody would love to see is Ronda vs. Cyborg, so everybody is waiting - I'm sure Cyborg is too - is the return of Ronda Rousey," said Dana White.

Rousey has been out of commission since her knockout, but it's rumored she could return to the Octagon as early as December 30 at UFC 207 in Las Vegas to face off against Amanda Nunes. However, this line up isn't definite just yet.

"When she does return, I'm sure [Ronda is] going to want to fight for the title, probably defend it and then maybe fight Cyborg," White said. "I don't know. We'll see how this thing plays out."

While White wants to see a Cyborg v. Rousey fight, he also sees the possibility of pitting her against other big names.

"The dream fight for Cyborg is obviously the Ronda Rousey fight, but there's other big names out there like Miesha Tate, Holly Holm and possibly - and I know Brazilians don't like seeing Brazilians fight - but possibly Amanda Nunes," White said. "I think Cyborg has made it clear that she can't make 135 pounds. We do have a couple of really good girls at 135 that would like to fight Cyborg, that would like to move up and take that challenge."

Regardless of who Cyborg fights next, she's undeniably a UFC headliner, and we'll be tuning in the next time she steps into the Octagon.

"I think that when you talk about a headliner, somebody as big and as dominant and as scary as Cyborg is - she is a definite headliner - and obviously she is a Brazilian, and she's a big star down there," White said. "She's a big star all over the world."

What's your dream fight for Cyborg?
