With all the reboots and remakes happening lately, pretty much anyone who has been in a TV show that is now off the air is being asked whether they would consider returning to said show, and such was the case with Reba McEntire and her sitcom, Reba, Aug. 23 at the ACM Honors in Nashville.
As far as conversations about bringing the show back, the singer said, “There have been some in the past and hopefully some in the future too.”

“We’d love to do it,” she added.
Reba ran on the WB and the CW from 2001 until 2007, and starred McEntire as a divorced woman who raises her kids alongside her ex-husband and his new wife.
As for returning to TV in a different way, McEntire said she doesn’t think she’s cut out to be a judge on the upcoming reboot of American Idol.
“If anybody was bad, I don’t think I could say, ‘You were bad,’ or, ‘Honey, go get you a day job,’ ” the star said. “I would definitely not be a Simon [Cowell].”
McEntire did offer her thoughts on friend Kelly Clarkson serving as a coach on The Voice this fall, saying she thinks the singer “absolutely” has what it takes to hold her own with her fellow judges.
“Without a doubt,” she added. “I can’t wait to see her on the show.”
