Zendaya is ready to move on.

“I’m assuming so,” the actress said when asked if the show is ending. “I’m growing up, and there’s a lot of other things I want to do in my career.”
Prior to the Emmy-nominated K.C. Undercover, Zendaya also starred on the network’s Shake It Up with Bella Thorne. The star recently made the move to the Marvel Cinematic Universe with a role in Spider-Man: Homecoming, and shared that as she grows up, she thinks her Disney Channel character, K.C., will too.
“K.C.’s, you know, she’s growing up, she’s becoming a young woman, and there’s been a lot of talk this season about her going to college,” Zendaya explained. “So, I think so.”
Zendaya’s co-star, Veronica Dunne, echoed the star’s sentiments about the show.
“We had such a great run and everyone’s growing up,” Dunne said. “I can’t answer that for sure, but if it was [ending], I think it’d just be a great way to end this season, and end this show, because it’s come to a great end and a beautiful family has grown up. So, I’m happy about it either way.”
