The incident occurred earlier in July, and he has since been arrested. He pled no contest to the petty theft charge, which landed him a 150 sentence in the L.A. Country Jail.
This was reportedly the second petty theft charge on his record.

Weiss is reportedly not sweating the sentence too much, and he hopes to turn the sentence into something positive. He has hopes that he’ll be able to use some of his time to write a new script or jokes for his stand-up act.
“[Shaun] hopes jail will help him, and maybe while he is in jail he will write something,” said his manager, Don Gibble.
Weis is best know as goalie Greg Goldberg in all the three Might Ducks films. He also was a supporting character in the Disney cult classic Heavyweights.
He’s also appeared in guest roles for numerous other TV shows including: Freaks and Geeks, Pee-Wee’s Playhouse, Boy Meets World and Sabrina, the Teenage Witch.
