Jwoww is feeling “purdy again” after switching up her look. The Jersey Shore alum took to Instagram on Wednesday to unleash a new bathroom selfie to show off her hair “weave.”
The 31-year-old reality star shared the snap with the caption: “New weave…can’t thank @makenzie_lynn4 and @snipteasehair for making this tired mom gorgeous…I fell into a little slump…but now I feel PURDY again.”

The pic shows the mother of two sporting an all-black ensemble that accentuates her hourglass figure. She snapped a pic in front of the mirror as her long brunette locks cascaded down her side.
While Jwoww doesn’t mind stealing the spotlight on Instagram with her workout selfies and other sexy pics, she does enjoy being able to live her life without being under the constant microscope like she was when she starred on MTV‘s Jersey Shore. During an interview with Fox News, Jwoww, whose real name is Jennifer Farley, revealed that she and her husband, Roger Mathews, own a second home in Maine where they often retreat to in order to get away from the fast-paced entertainment life.
“There’s tranquility there and I can find peace without cell phones or internet,” Jwoww said. “We invested our money into our lake house for the late summer, early fall. And for Christmases where we’ll hopefully get snowed in. And just to teach our kids there’s more [than] the city life.”
Jwoww and Roger share two kids – a daughter named Meilani Alexandra Mathews and a son named Greyson Valor Mathews – who were born in 2014 and 2016, respectively.

“We want to teach them you should value taking a step back and be one with nature. Just planting, being out on the lake, fishingโฆ I bought over 100 acres of land next to his father, so it’s all within the family surrounded by a lake. Every family member has their own plot and mini cabinโฆ I can’t wait to start gardening and grow my own vegetables.”
Because she is famous, Jwoww knows that her parenting skills are going to be “criticized” by her haters.
“You’re going to get criticized for what you do, even if you’re Susie Homemaker or Betty Crocker,” she said. “You have to be super secure in how you parent and how you are as a person. Then you can do it. Since the beginning, eight years ago on Jersey Shore, good, bad, or indifferent I have always been myself. Even during those moments that made me cringe? Yep, that was me… And at that point, you’re going to laugh at it.”
What many of Jwoww’s fans have been dying to know is if she would be game to appear in a Jersey Shore reunion. The MTV starlet said that she is totally down!
“I always said I would. I don’t know about the other cast-mates. I just don’t know how it would go down because of marriages and kids. It would have to be short-lived. Maybe a vacation somewhere. Maybe two weeks at the most and I would have to somehow bring my kids and be able to tuck them in at night. None of that has been talked about, but if they were to, I would have to bring them along because I couldn’t spend more than a few days without my family,” she said.
